This really has nothing to do with the Bee Guild but being the keeper of the blog I can on occasion post things I like.
Most of the old timers in the guild are retired engineers and well, they are all very technical type of men. I don't think there isn't a bee problem they can't solve or equipment they can't design and build. Very talented group of guys.
Not being a hard core bee keeper myself, I like the creative side of bee keeping. Here is the link to the designer of this Honey Bee Table

Updated Bee Guild News
There are a couple of notices that should not wait another month for distribution.
Please note that Alan Henninger's email has been hacked and his contact list has been stolen. Please assume that requests from Alan's account are fraudulent. He has not been injured, and is not requesting money. Alan is presently working to find a cure for this situation.
During the March meeting Wayne Craft presented the newest Bee Guild postcards. Somehow, the entire stack/box of 250 disappeared. If anyone knows where they are please send a note to Wayne at SpaceIR@aol.com
Tyler has a message regarding swarm catching:
Beekeeping Opportunity this Saturday (April 7) - 10:00AM to Noon
I will have another opportunity to open my hive this Saturday and you are
welcome to come. As we did last time, who knows what secrets lurk with the hive box......we will be opening and completely reorganizing the hive - all frames will be removed, cleaned off, identified as to function and replaced according to the standard set-up within the 2 brood boxes. This is an
opportunity for the new beekeepers to see what all the hub bub is about and for those interested in seeing how the fully-drawn plastic frames work....bring your bee-suits and tools... this is a hands-on workshop -- Saturday 4/7 10am to noon
320 North 17th St., San Jose, 95112
we might receive some swarm calls....so this could be an extended learning opportunity
....so pack a box to take home a swarm.....
G-Mail Swarm List:
The electronic swarm list is going great! For those of you interested (and not already on the list) please e-mail your E-MAIL address (or cell phone text message e-mail address - NOT THE CELL NUMBER) to:
